The AM Lodge has an exciting permanent vacancy for a Supervisor: Front Of House & Housekeeping. The incumbent will oversee all Front of House and Housekeeping departments to the standards laid down by the company to ensure an exceptional five-star Customer Service experience for the guests of AM Lodge. Should have a good understanding of sanitation regulations and team management abilities.

▪ Train housekeepers on cleaning and maintenance tasks
▪ Oversee staff on a daily basis
▪ Check rooms and common areas, including stairways and lounge areas, for cleanliness
▪ Schedule shifts and arrange for replacements in cases of absences
▪ Establish and educate staff on cleanliness, tidiness, and hygiene standards
▪ Motivate team members and resolve any issues that occur on the job
▪ Respond to customer complaints and special requests
▪ Monitor and replenish cleaning products stock including floor cleaner, bleach and rubber gloves
▪ Participate in large cleaning projects as required
▪ Ensure compliance with safety and sanitation policies in all areas Realign furniture and amenities according to prescribed layout

• Must have matric / Grade 12
• Hospitality Diploma or related
• Minimum of 4 years as a Front of House supervisory experience
• Strong customer service background
• Experience in Point of Sales information systems
• Computer Skills in Microsoft Word and Excel

• Excellent communication skills with an ability to listen, follow directions, and Convey information
• Good business acumen and commercial awareness
• Ability to build and maintain long lasting customer relationships
• A good understanding of what constitutes excellent customer service
• Leadership skills with an ability to train and motivate staff
• Quality assurance focus and Safety conscious
• High standards of personal hygiene and grooming
