The AM Spa Holdings has an exciting vacancy for a Branch Manager. This role will be responsible for the overall success and smooth running of the AM Spa Kruger & AM Spa Hoedspruit. The responsibilities will further include the overall performance and delivery of the spa service i.e. customer service, cleanliness, staffing, health & safety, and brand marketing & delivery and effectively manage and develop the Spa team.


  • Manage all aspects of the Spa’s day-to-day operations.
  • Ensure that daily operations are carried out efficiently and economically within agreed policies and procedures.
  • Ensure that the Spa is effectively always staffed and fully functional.
  • the cleanliness, tidiness, and safety of the facility always
  • Always ensure compliance with Health and safety regulations.
  • Always ensure effective stock control for an efficient operation of the facility.
  • Develop and introduce systems to ensure that beauty treatments are appropriate for the customer i.e. are not contradictory to the customer’s medical conditions and lifestyle.

Customer Service

  • Drive service standards within the spa so that all customers are treated to the very best service from the moment they arrive at the spa to when they leave.
  • Develop effective strategies to receive customer feedback.
  • Continually monitor and review customer feedback and take appropriate action to rectify adverse trends identified.
  • Develop in-house training workshops to ensure the highest quality of customer care delivery within the facility.
  • Ensure that customers comply with the customer rules and procedures at all times.

Sales and Marketing

  • Ensure continuous growth of the AM brand and Spa customer base.
  • Set sales targets for the spa and ensure the achievement of those targets.
  • Liaise with the marketing team for guidance, advice, and assistance on marketing and promoting AM Spa-Kruger & Hoedspruit.
  • Promote and market the spa and its services by developing publicity opportunities.

People Management

  • Recruit, supervise and lead a spa team and ensure that they are adequately trained to carry out their respective jobs.
  • Ensure all members of the team are effectively managed and supervised.
  • Always ensure adherence to Human Resources policies.
  • Ensure that all staff is aware of developments, policies, practices, and procedures.
  • Ensure thorough communication to ensure that employee-related matters are effectively addressed.
  • Ensure that the spa staff is developed and motivated to perform to the best of their abilities.

Financial Management

  • Prepare and monitor Spa budgets, revenue targets and business plans.
  • Ensure that financial targets relating to spa revenue are achieved
  • Identify, review and research opportunities for improvements and innovations which will maximize opportunities and improve the overall performance of the facility.



  • Matric
  • Diploma in Beauty Therapy (Related)
  • Basic computer literacy
  • First Aid certificate


  • 3 – 5 Years’ experience as a Manager in a Spa environment.
  • Minimum 3 year’s experience in the hospitality and/or tourism industry.


  • Team Player, but must be able to work independently where required
  • Must have excellent interpersonal skills
  • Must be an Innovative and constructive thinker
  • Must be pro-active and show initiative and punctuality
  • Must have an ability to work under pressure
  • Be able to resolve problems
